Observe

Join the mailing list, attend KOL webinars, and follow sub-team activities with no commitment required.

Contribute

Co-author papers, review manuscripts, present at webinars, or bring expertise to a specific project.

Lead

Take on a sub-team leadership role. The Leadership Team provides mentorship and support for new leads.

Start Something New

Prepare a one-page concept and meet with the leadership team to discuss scope, fit, and support for a new sub-team.

Open Positions & Active Recruitment

  • Master Protocol Regulatory Sub-team, Volunteers for the 2020–2025 Systematic Literature Review update (full-text review, data extraction). Contact Peter Mesenbrink or Julia Niewczas.
  • Patient Engagement Sub-team, Seeking a new sub-team leader to champion the integration of patient perspectives into innovative trial design. Open to patient advocates, clinical researchers, and methodologists with a patient-centered focus. Contact Mercedeh Ghadessi.
  • Concept, Methodology and Framework Sub-team (MPWG), Undergoing a reboot under Bryan McComb and Courtney Henry. New members welcome. Contact either directly.
  • Patient advocates and patient organizations, The IDSWG specifically welcomes patient advocates as full members. If your organization works in rare diseases or another area where the group is active, we’d like to hear from you.
