2026 DahShu-IDSWG Annual Meeting

You are warmly invited to the 2026 DahShu-IDSWG Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with the ASA BioPharma Regulatory-Industry Statistics Workshop (RISW).

Location: Bethesda North Marriott, Bethesda, MD

The annual meeting provides an opportunity for members of the IDSWG community to reconnect, hear updates on ongoing initiatives and sub-team activities, and discuss priorities and opportunities for the year ahead.

KOL Lecture Series

The IDSWG KOL Lecture Series has been running since 2015. Each month the series invites key opinion leaders from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies to share insights on the methodology, application, and practical considerations of innovative clinical trial design.

Format: Monthly webinars, Fridays 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST

Attendance: 100 to 200 participants per session, open to all.

Annual Meeting

IDSWG holds an annual face-to-face meeting for members and collaborators, held in conjunction with the ASA BioPharma Regulatory-Industry Statistics Workshop (RISW). The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Bethesda North Marriott in Bethesda, MD, featuring invited speaker James Travis, Ph.D. (U.S. FDA). The most recent meeting took place on September 24, 2025, and included introductory presentations on the IDSWG, DahShu, and BSWG collaboration opportunities, and the StatBridge Future Leaders Program, followed by sub-team reports from across the group’s working groups.

DahShu Data Science Symposium

The 2025 DahShu Data Science Symposium focused on Innovative Frontiers: AI and Data-Driven Advances in Drug Development, Precision Medicine, and Healthcare.

Short courses offered on October 18, 2025:

  • Precision Medicine and Companion Diagnostics: Statistical and Design Considerations (Half Day)
  • Bayesian Clinical Trial Designs and Their Implementation (Half Day)
